Installed prices, not equipment prices.

Every number below is the price with installation included — old unit removed and hauled away, new one plumbed, wired to code, and leak tested. No line-item surprises after the fact.

Starting prices

What it costs, installed

Your exact price depends on your pool's size and what's already on the pad. These are real starting numbers, not teasers.

Variable-speed pumps

11 models

Installed from

$2,795

The single biggest energy win on a pool. A variable-speed pump typically pays for itself in 2–3 years of electric bills, and California has required them on replacements since 2021.

Heaters

6 models

Installed from

$4,295

Adds months to your swim season. We size to your pool's volume and gas line — an undersized heater never catches up, an oversized one short-cycles.

What "installed" actually includes

Safe removal of the old unit, system resizing, updated plumbing and electrical connections to meet local codes, leak testing, and professional disposal of the old equipment. Disconnecting the electrical/gas lines, draining the water, removing the old unit from the equipment pad, and properly and legally disposing of the old heater or pump.

If your gas line, electrical, or plumbing needs work to bring the new equipment up to code, we'll tell you what that costs before we start — not halfway through the job.

Equipment questions

Why doesn't the site list every model and price?
Because the right answer depends on your pool. Pump sizing depends on gallonage and plumbing runs; heater sizing depends on volume and your gas line. We publish the starting installed price for each category so you know the ballpark, then quote your specific pool. Call and we'll give you a model-level number on the phone.
Is installation included in those prices?
Yes. Every price on this page is installed, not just the equipment. That covers safe removal of the old unit, system resizing, updated plumbing and electrical connections to meet local codes, leak testing, and professional disposal of the old equipment. Disconnecting the electrical/gas lines, draining the water, removing the old unit from the equipment pad, and properly and legally disposing of the old heater or pump.
Do you install equipment I bought myself?
Generally no. When we supply the equipment we warranty the whole job — if the unit fails, that's our problem to solve, not a fight between you, the manufacturer, and us.
What brands do you carry?
Hayward, Jandy, Pentair. We'll recommend based on what's already on your pad, what parts availability looks like, and what actually holds up in North County's water.
How long does an install take?
Most pump, filter, and light swaps are a single day. Heaters can run longer if the gas line or electrical needs work to meet code. We'll tell you before we start.
Is there a warranty?
Manufacturer warranty on the equipment plus our workmanship on the installation. The specifics come with your quote in writing.
